Class Teacher - Multiple vacancies
The Oak Partnership Trust is looking for Class Teachers for across our Schools at Primary and secondary level. We are seeking an excellent educator to join our teaching staff in Taunton. You’ll be an experienced teacher at either Primary and Secondary level or an enthusiastic ECT, delivering the foundation phase curriculum whilst planning, preparing and teaching lessons; an understanding of classroom management, curriculum knowledge and delivery of feedback is key.

The Oak Partnership Trust is a family of schools that cater for children and young people from 2 – 19 years old. Established on 1st January 2019 with a clear purpose of being an inclusive community of schools which inspires a passion for knowledge and the courage and confidence to fly. Our schools are: Selworthy Special School which is split into four sites: Oakhill Campus provides specialist provision for primary aged learners, Hazelbrook Campus provides specialist provision for secondary aged learners, The Grove provides specialist provision for sixth form, The Cove provides support for a small number of learners to access mainstream school at Court Fields Secondary School. We have four Primary schools: Blackbrook Community Primary School, West Monkton C of E Primary School, Stoke St Gregory C of E Primary School, Ruishton C of E Primary School and Hill View which is a new SEMH all through school opening in September 2024
Key requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualification
- Passion and commitment for inspiring through teaching and learning
- Solid knowledge of the foundation phase in line with the relevant curriculum
- The ability to build on and develop existing best practice knowledge
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
