Senior Office Administrator - Stoke St Gregory C of E Primary School

About Us

Stoke St Gregory Church of England Primary School was founded in 1857. It is now a co-educational day school for pupils aged 4-11.  There are currently 61 pupils on roll- our maximum pupil capacity is 77 pupils . The school is an Academy school and is part of The Oak Partnership Trust. The Trust was formed in 2019 and is local partnership of primary and special schools. 

The Role

As the Senior Office Administrator, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, providing essential support to the school's management team and staff by ensuring efficient processes and high standards of work.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing the school office
  • Maintaining up-to-date student records and data management systems
  • Supporting financial administration
  • Supporting recruitment and HR processes 
  • Ensuring compliance with educational policies and regulations
  • Liaising with parents, students, and external agencies
  • Supporting the organisation of school events and activities

Who We're Looking For:

We are seeking a candidate who is:

  • Experienced in office management within an educational setting - preferred.
  • Adept at leading a team and managing a wide range of administrative tasks.
  • Proficient in using IT systems and data management tools.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of people.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Relevant experience in educational administration or similar field (desired).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of IT literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office and educational software.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and compliance within a school environment.
  • The right to work in the UK.

Salary: 13, Points 6-11 - Salary range £12.38 - £13.47 per hours

Hours: 28 hours a week, 

Job Type: Term time only plus INSET days (39 weeks), Permanent
