Class Teacher (Year 2/3)

  • Two Positions Available -Permanent Full-Time & Fixed-Term Maternity Cover
  • Start Date: September 2025 / October 2025 (TBC)
  • Location: St Vigor and St John Church School, Chilcompton
  • Salary: MPS M1 – M6 £31,650 - £43,607

A wonderful opportunity has arisen to join our thriving and inclusive school community at St Vigor and St John Church of England Primary School, part of the Bath & Wells Multi Academy Trust.

We are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic and dedicated class teachers to join our friendly and supportive team. The two positions available are:

  • Permanent Full-Time Class Teacher (starting September 2025)
  • Fixed-Term Maternity Cover Class Teacher (from October 2025 at the latest, with potential to start earlier to support a smooth transition – fixed until August 2026)

Both roles will be based in Year 2 or Year 3, and we welcome applications from teachers with experience across Key Stage 1 and Lower Key Stage 2. Please indicate clearly in your application which position you are applying for, or if you wish to be considered for both.
