Nursery Assistant

Full Time and Part Time hours available (Part time hours available 2pm - 6pm - Monday - Friday) 

£10.98 per hour / Bank variable hours contract

Acorns Nursery provides childcare for up to 50 children 0-5 years of students, employees and private clients. We are currently looking to recruit additional members of staff to join our team. The Nursery provides high quality care and education for all children and we are keen to recruit reflective practitioners with an interest in maintaining and extending our high standards.

To be considered for this role candidates should hold the following;

Hold a minimum Level 2 in Child Care

Level 1 in Numeracy, English and IT

Have previous experience in a nursery setting

Ideally candidates should hold a Food Hygiene certificate, although training for this can be obtained whilst in employment.

Working hours can vary so candidates need to be willing to work variable shifts during nursery opening hours, which are 8.00 - 6.00 Monday to Friday – flexibility is key!

Successful candidates will need to register their DBS onto the update service with relevant workforce prior to commencing employment.
