Breakfast and After School Club Leader

Pay Range: NJC Grade 6 Pt 18-22 £25,419-£27,514 Pro Rata and Term Time Only

Hours: 14 Hours per week (with possible overtime)

A founding member of the Palladian Academy Trust, Oldfield Park Junior School (OPJS) is a popular eight class community school that serves Oldfield Park and the surrounding suburbs of Bath. OPJS was formed in 1893, deemed as ‘Good’ in its last OFSTED inspection (October 2019) and currently has 234 children on roll.

We require a Breakfast and After School Club Leader who will manage and lead our wrap around provision. This provision involves a Breakfast Club (7.30am-8.30am) and an After School Club (3.30pm-6pm) for our children. It is well attended and highly thought of by our school community and provides an invaluable service for our parents.

As the BC and ASC Leader, you will be expected to manage both clubs in terms of organising staff, resources and oversee the booking system. Furthermore, you will be expected to organise activities and take sessions as well as prepare food for our children.

The hours are as follows:

Monday – Thursday 2.45pm-6.15pm

Additional hours will be available to cover extra sessions. The attached job description highlights further aspects of the position.
