Digital Leader and Computer Science Teacher

JOB OVERVIEW

At Oldfield School, an enthusiastic digital leader and computer science teacher is required to join a dynamic, successful and collaborative team. You must be able to teach A Level Computer Science, including the programming elements of coursework, and GCSE Computer Science as well as ICT at KS4.The role is a permanent, full-time role for a September 2024 start.

As part of a welcoming Mathematics and Computer Science Learning Area, you will enthuse and motivate students to strive for success while maintaining a healthy learning environment for all children within the school. You will be able to teach A Level Computer Science, including the programming elements of coursework, and GCSE Computer Science as well as ICT at KS4. You should also be interested in how the use of ICT in classrooms across the school can be innovatively developed. You will work directly with the Deputy Headteacher (Curriculum) to advise on how we may capitalise on the recent investment in cutting-edge classroom ICT to enhance learning.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
• A Good Honours Degree
