Oldmixon Primary School is a very special place where it is our aim to support children to achieve by building confidence. In order to do this, we are looking for an excellent administrative professional with a proven track record of working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and success of the school. You will be a highly organised, efficient, and resourceful individual with strong leadership and communication skills as well as excellent computer skills.
As office administrator, you would be responsible for administrative and business processes within the school.
This includes:
• managing administrative functions: this includes handling the school's daily op-erations, such as scheduling, record-keeping, and correspondence and ensur-ing that all records are kept up-to-date and confidential and that daily, weekly, monthly termly and annual deadlines are met
• managing organisational processes: this includes planning and organising events, managing school resources, and coordinating with external stakehold-ers. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the school complies with rele-vant regulations and policies
• maintaining confidentiality: you will be responsible for safeguarding all confi-dential information related to the school, staff, and pupils
• demonstrating effective communication skills: you will need to communicate ef-fectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including staff, pupils, parents, and external partners
• exhibiting strong organisational and problem-solving skills as you will need to be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively solve problems under pressure
• maintaining a courteous, polite, efficient and effective front-of-house service for all parents, pupils, staff, governors and visitors, in accordance with safeguarding procedures
