Contract: Permanent, term time only plus INSET days

Hours: 32.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday 8:30-16:00)

Salary: Grade 12, £17,463 Pro rata (£23,114 FTE)

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant to join our office team at Callicroft Primary Academy.

The post-holder will work in the front office and will be responsible for meeting and greeting all visitors and parents/carers. They will deal with phone enquiries, in person queries and written correspondence.

As the ‘face’ of the academy the post-holder will be welcoming, personable, helpful and able to represent the academy in a professional and friendly manner.

The successful candidate will be:

• Be educated to a good standard, evidenced by GCSE’s (including Mathematics and English) at grade C or above (or equivalent qualification).

• Have recent and relevant admin experience.

• Be competent in the use of MS Office and be computer literate.

• Have a good telephone manner and excellent customer service skills.

• Have high standard and attention to detail.

• Have the ability to work independently or in a team.

• Have the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

• Be able to prioritise your own workload.

• Experience of working in school would be desirable.
