Contract: Permanent, term time only plus INSET days, plus 10 days

Hours: 20 hours per week (Monday to Friday 9:00-13:00)

Salary: Grade 10, £12,073 to £12,698 Pro rata (£24,702 to £25,979 FTE)

The Role

Callicroft Primary Academy are looking to appoint an Admin Officer to support their team. Reporting to the Office Manager the successful candidate will have a good financial background, be able to work to tight deadlines with the ability to multi-task. A high level of accuracy, numeracy skills and attention to detail is essential.

Some of the duties (but not exclusive) that the role will include is making purchase orders, processing invoices and managing school trips all of which are to be in line with the school’s Financial Regulations Policy. You will also provide guidance and mentoring to the Admin Assistant on day to day proceedings within the school office environment.

The successful candidate will be:

• Be educated to a good standard, evidenced by GCSE’s (including Mathematics and English) at grade C or above (or equivalent qualification).

• Have recent and relevant admin experience.

• Be competent in the use of MS Office and be computer literate.

• Have first class communication skills and the ability to build effective and appropriate relationships with children and adults.

• Have high standard and attention to detail.

• Have the ability to work independently or in a team.

• Have the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

• Be able to prioritise your own workload.

• Experience of working in school would be desirable.
