We are looking for an exceptional Office Manager to join our Business Support Team at the Olympus Academy Trust. The successful candidate will coordinate and manage a high quality administrative and clerical support service to the school leadership team, wider staffing body and across two sites (Abbeywood Community School & Bristol Technology and Engineering Academy).
The role is offered on a full time basis, working 37 hours per week, and the actual salary for the role will be £22,571 per annum in the first instance.
Reporting to PA to Executive Headteacher, the Office Manager will be part of the Business Support Team.
You will be responsible for:
• Leading the administrative team; prioritising and delegating incoming tasks and maintaining key administrative processes.
• Managing the administrative support staff at Abbeywood Community School & Bristol Technology and Engineering Academy, including line managing performance of teams.
• Providing clerical support to core leadership in meetings and in the production of reports as required; and
• Logging and managing staff absences within office team and support the arrangement of cover.
• Supporting the administrative process of in-school testing & vaccinations.
• Supporting the organisation of school trust events, open days and open evenings.
You will have the following key skills and experience:
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven track record of your ability to work as part of a team in a customer facing role.
• NVQ level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent experience or other relevant qualification.
• A good track record of implementing administrative services and data entry processes.
• Dealing with multiple conflicting priorities under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of data protection and confidentiality.
• High levels of numeracy, accuracy and organisational skills. Good knowledge of MS Office applications.
