Charborough Road Primary School is looking for three Play leaders to join their team!
The role is offered as follows:
15 hours per week, Monday to Friday (working hours each day must include 12.00am to 1.15pm). The role is Term Time Only and the actual salary for this role is: £6,504 per annum
Duties will include:
• Working as part of a team to ensure the safety and general welfare of students during the lunch period
• To support with intervention groups, working with students on phonics, Literacy and numeracy.
• Leading play during lunchtimes - encouraging and supporting imaginative and creative play
• Setting up/putting away of furniture for lunch provision
• Supervising pupils in the lunch hall and other designated areas of the school (including playground or other external spaces)
• Administration of first aid
This position is offered on a fixed term basis until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of extension depending on funding. We would like the post holder to start as soon as possible.
The right candidate will have a genuine interest in working with children and a cheerful, hard-working and engaging approach to the role. We are looking for people that are flexible, resilient and positive – even when under pressure and who will not be phased at working in both outdoor and indoor environments.
Our school hall, playground, field and classrooms, during wet weather, will be your workspace and you will be able to encourage imaginative and creative play in all these settings. A key aspect of working in this field is identifying individual needs and being responsible for creating a safe, stimulating and supportive learning environment.
