Contract: Permanent, term time only (to incl. INSET days) + 4 additional days in the school holidays 

Hours: 35 per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 08:00-16:00, Thursday 8:30-3:30 and Friday 08:30-15:00)

Salary: G11, £19,316-£19639 Pro rata (£23,500 to £23,893 FTE)

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our busy administration team at Winterbourne Academy.

The post-holder will work in the front office and will be responsible for meeting and greeting all visitors and parents/carers to the academy. They will deal with phone enquiries, in person queries, and written correspondence.

As the ‘face’ of the academy the Receptionist & Admin Support Assistant should be welcoming, personable, helpful and able to represent the academy in a professional and friendly manner.

The successful candidate will:

• be educated to a good standard, evidenced by 5 or more GCSE's (including Mathematics and English) at grade C or above (or equivalent qualifications)

• have recent and relevant school based admin/reception experience

• Willing to obtain a First Aid qualification.

• be competent in the use of MS Office.

• have a good telephone manner and have excellent customer service skills

• be a confident communicator building professional relationships with stakeholders.

• have high standards and attention to detail.

• have the ability to work independently or in a team.

• have the ability to remain calm and professional working under pressure.
