Salary – Competitive

Job category/type - Fixed Term Contract, Part Time

Who we are looking for?

We are looking for an experienced Level 6 Tutor of Finance to join our team at ONCAMPUS London Birkbeck. If successful you will teach on the University of London Graduate Diploma in Finance, for which we are a teaching institution.

Have you taught at this level before? Are you qualified to Master’s level and do you have a teaching qualification? Are you comfortable delivering teaching remotely, to students across the globe, using Microsoft Teams and VLE? If so, this could be the role for you, and we would love to hear from you.

This is a part time salaried position (18 hours per week) with 12 teaching hours per week for the Financial Reporting, Financial Intermediation and Principles of Corporate Finance modules;

Teaching will be online until the end of December, at least, on Mondays 8-12, Thursdays 8-12, and Fridays 8-12. The times reflected are to ensure that you can deliver excellent content to our students across the globe in various time zones. You will need to create teaching resources that bring life to the scheme of work and resources on the VLE. The programme assessment is 100% exam-based at the end of the year so regular assessment for learning and to stay on track is key.

Why you will love working here

Working in our Academic Team, you will have the opportunity to work with colleagues that have a shared focus on collaborating so that we can improve the lives of learners around the world. You will work for a global organisation that is respected for its successes in education, having the best of both worlds by being able to take the opportunity to grow personally whilst helping students develop.

Join a respected, global education organisation that provides a friendly and supportive work environment to its diverse range of colleagues. Cambridge Education Group’s flexible and fast-paced experts help learners around the world to Achieve More.

Despite the global concerns around the COVID-19 pandemic Cambridge Education Group is continuing to grow, as such we are continuing to recruit into new and existing vacancies. Cambridge Education Group is committed to ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of all our staff and students and as such, where relevant, we may conduct part of the interview process via video conference instead of in person. Anybody joining the team whilst these restrictions are in place may have part of their induction delivered remotely until our offices or centres are open again. This role will be teaching students partly face to face again from January; and this role will be required to be in centre for at least part of the week initially.
