Salary: BG7 £20,493 - £21,748 FTE (Actual Salary £17,843 - £18,935)

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic SEND Administrator and Medical Needs Lead at Orchard School Bristol to work full time. This role is suited to someone who has good understanding of terminology around Special Educational Needs, Disabilities and Medical care, and can work with staff, children and parents ensuring the care of children with SEND and Medical Needs is well organised.
This role combines being an Administrator for our SEND team of staff (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and also leading on children’s Medical Needs documentation. You will work closely with the SENDCo to ensure the SEND register of need is updated, prepare documentation for EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) reviews and ensure that SEND profiles and provision maps are kept right up to date and shared with staff as appropriate. As the Medical Needs Lead you will work with all First Aiders and ensure that the school has all the right documentation in place to support children with complex or long-term medical conditions.
You will be hyper-efficient, able to organise and arrange activities around a tight calendar – so that you never drop a ball. It’s an exciting new role at Orchard, and we are looking for someone who can manage their workload well, while being part of a very supportive team.
