We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic SEND Administrator and Medical Needs Lead at Orchard School Bristol to work full time. This role is suited to someone who has good understanding of terminology around Special Educational Needs, Disabilities and Medical care, and can work with staff, children and parents ensuring the care of children with SEND and Medical Needs is well organised.

This role combines being an Administrator for our SEND team of staff (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and also leading on children’s Medical Needs documentation. You will work closely with the SENDCo to ensure the SEND register of need is updated, prepare documentation for EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) reviews and ensure that SEND profiles and provision maps are kept right up to date and shared with staff as appropriate. We offer:

- enthusiastic students, willing to learn and achieve

- a bright, happy place in which to learn and work

- a professionally stimulating environment which values the contributions of all staff

- a commitment to professional development

- award winning staff wellbeing

We are building success on the core ORCHARD values of being: Open-minded, Respectful, Creative and Curious, Healthy, Ambitious, Responsible and Determined. If what we are doing resonates with you, and you are keen to work closely with us supporting our students’ aspirations and achievements, then we wholeheartedly welcome your application.
