Salary: OSG Enhanced Pay Scales LF M1-UP3 £30,244.32 to £46,266.57 (Actual for 0.4 - £12,097.73 to £18,506.63) Dependent upon skills and experience

We have a fantastic opportunity at our Northampton Campus for an experienced and interactive Girls PE Teacher to join the team on a part time (0.2FTE), permanent basis and to teach our students in KS3-KS5. initially located at our Dunstable Campus site (LU5 4QL) until we relocate to our new bespoke build Hunsbury Campus site (NN4 8QS) scheduled to open in September 2023.
You will be adept at coaching our students to see and lead through challenges in their learning, so they make the best possible progress in each and every lesson.
You will:
• Have Qualified Teacher Status and a degree or a similar Physical Education / Sports related qualification
• Possess recent experience of teaching PE to students in KS3-KS5
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum for GCSE PE including exam specifications.
• Possess a good understanding of SEND procedures
• Have a diverse set of skills which will enable you to be flexible working in the classroom for both theory and practical sessions, as well as in our modern learning centre
• Be an innovative and reflective practitioner who is keen to learn
• Respect and promote the schools Ethos and Values

Key responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver high quality learning experiences for students
• Demonstrate active reflection by engaging in constant evaluation of own and students’ performance
• Mark, assess and report on students work and progress in line with school policy
• To support the subject leader to develop the curriculum area
• To contribute to the provision of an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for pupils studying in the curriculum area, in accordance with the aims of the school and the curricular policies determined by OneSchool Global UK, the Trustees and the Senior Teacher of the school
• Monitoring attainment and progress for all students and reporting the findings every half term
• Monitoring underachievement and putting in place strategies to improve outcomes
• Liaising with parents
• Supporting with and leading assemblies
• Supervising pupils as required
• Undertaking lunchtime and break time duties
• Supervising the SDL Centre as required
• Mentoring pupils as directed
