Before/After School Assistants – required as soon as possible
12-month fixed term contracts
Full time salary: £24,796 - £25,185 per annum
Contract 1
6.25 hours per week, term time plus one week
Monday to Friday 7.45am – 9.00am
Actual salary: £3,614 - £3,671 per annum (14.57% FTE)
Contract 2
4 hours per week, term time plus one week
Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 9.00am
Actual salary: £2,313 - £2,349 per annum (9.32% FTE)
About the role
We are seeking caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Before/After School Assistants to join our wraparound childcare team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children in a safe, welcoming environment before and after the school day to enable us to support families outside of school hours.
Our very popular school educates children from pre-school through to Year 2 and is part of the Oak Multi Academy Trust.
The role involves supervising children aged 3 to 11 years, helping to provide engaging play and learning activities, supporting snack time, and ensuring children’s wellbeing and safety at all times.
We are looking for individuals who:
• Enjoy working with children and helping them thrive.
• Can contribute to a friendly, supportive team.
• Is reliable, organised, and committed to safeguarding children.
Previous experience in a school, childcare, or play work setting is desirable, but training and support will be provided.
