Under the ambitious leadership of the recently appointed Principal, we are already making big strides in reaching our potential. However, we recognise that there is more to do to achieve our goal of becoming one of the very best schools in the country. The next Vice Principal of Oxted School will play a critical role in this, with whole-school responsibility for the Quality of Education, and leading on pedagogy, curriculum, assessment and outcomes at Key Stage 4. Alongside our other Vice Principal, they will empower our staff to give their absolute best, making sure that all our students are supported and challenged to thrive and succeed.
To be successful in this role, you will be a motivated and energetic self-starter, with an impressive track record in improving outcomes. Relentlessly high standards, strategic vision and an innovative and dynamic approach to curriculum and teaching and learning is a must. The new Vice Principal will know how to rapidly improve the quality of education and accelerate progress in secondary schools- and be excited to assist the Principal in making Oxted School one of the very best. You will need to be an experienced, positive, and collaborative senior leader, with a flair for inspiring others and bringing them with you. Most importantly, you will also have a clear passion for working with young people in a busy and thriving school environment.
Undoubtedly, Oxted School is a rewarding and invigorating place to work and lead- our committed and talented staff care about our students and really do ‘Bring out the Best’ in everyone. Our colleagues and students also benefit from our wide range of extra-curricular activities- for example, Oxted School is one of the largest Duke of Edinburgh centres in the country. At The Howard Partnership Trust, we pride ourselves on our high-quality professional development, career progression opportunities and an attractive benefits package available to all our colleagues, and we work hard to ensure that staff wellbeing and workload are central to our approach.
