SEN Teaching Assistant

Hours: 20hrs per week during term time only (Mon-Fri 08:45 to 13:00)

Grade: SCP Grade 5 – 6, £21,575 - £21,968  (pro-rata)

St Philips’s Primary School are looking to appoint a SEN TA to provide a 1:1 support to a child in Y3 with an Education, Health and Care Plan. You will need to be a warm and caring individual who can offer an exceptional level of care and foster the child’s independence.

We are looking for someone to motivate, support and encourage the pupil to fully access the curriculum and school life.

Experience of supporting children with the following needs would be beneficial:

  •  Emotional wellbeing
  •  Speech and language difficulties
  •  Learning focus and attention

This role is dependent on individual pupil funding and therefore is a temporary position than will continue until such time as the funding ceases and/or the child leaves the school if this is earlier.
