Welcome to The Park and Parkwall Primary Schools Federation. The Federation consists of two primary schools serving two communities.
The Park Primary in Kingswood and Parkwall Primary in Cadbury Heath.
The schools federated in April 2011. At this time the two Governing bodies of each school joined to form one single Governing body responsible for the strategic overview of both schools. The schools retain their own unique identity, ethos and serve communities two miles apart and have separate admissions processes. However they share a joint commitment to excellence, learning and high standards. The schools work closely together sharing policies, systems and staff expertise to maximise good practice, innovation, economies of scale and achieve best value principles.
Both schools cater for the four to eleven age range. The Park is one of the largest primary schools in South Gloucestershire with three classes per year group, whilst Parkwall primary is smaller with one class per year group. Each school is situated within its own grounds with large play and sport spaces with well established trees and shrubs.
Across the Federation we provide an ethos that promotes and expects high standards in learning and behaviour, where the development of the whole child within a broad and balanced curriculum takes place. We work hard to create a sense of community within our schools where everyone is valued and plays an important role. We believe strongly in an active partnership between home and school and aim to ensure all those associated with each school realise they are members of a caring community where “learning for life” can take place. We have committed, highly professional staff teams lead by senior leaders who continue to strive for excellence for children in all that we do. We are very proud of our schools and their history and would be very pleased to show you around either of the schools.
Our school Values and Aims for pupils are:
Aspiration: To encourage pupils to make the most of every opportunity available and be aspirational for themselves.
Resilience: To develop resilient, independent learners who embrace challenge and learn from their mistakes.
Responsibility: To be proactive participants in their learning.
Collaboration: To work alongside and collaborate with others.

As a group of twelve Church and Community Schools across South Gloucestershire and Wiltshire we want to formalise our collaborative model of working. We believe that as a family of schools forming a Trust we can achieve:
Deliberate and purposeful collaboration which strengthens and builds capacity at all levels.
A strong, highly skilled, and resilient trustee and governance structure which focuses on enabling and empowering people.
School environments where all children, particularly those that face disadvantage can flourish and where equality, diversity, inclusion, and belonging are front and centre.
Professional growth and development that creates cultures and communities of improvement.
A sense of civic duty underpinned by the Charitable status where we can benefit from sharing our learning but also learning from others.
Financial stability through robust systems and structures.
We are a strong family of schools that serve diverse communities including two of the most deprived wards in South Gloucestershire and schools that are faith based, rural and small. We would want to work alongside the Diocese, Local Authorities and Academy partners as the Trust grows and develops.
