With picturesque scenery and huge history, Pawlett Primary School Academy is a small, happy academy with big ambitions. We focus upon reading, oracy and outdoor learning woven throughout our whole creative curriculum.

We have over 200 years of history and are situated in an incredibly stunning location, with a large playing field and onsite forest school facilities.

As a small academy we are at the heart of our local community we are genuinely learning together and growing together.

We are blessed to be a historic school in a beautiful rural location in Pawlett near Bridgwater. There has been a school in the village for over 200 years and we are very proud to play such an important part in our community. Our school caters for Reception to Year 6 with children being split between three teachers and full-time support staff.

We believe every single child in our care deserves the very best start in their journey in education. These formative years are so important to foster a love of learning, curiosity and respect of our world. We are helping to develop the next generation of adults and the vision and values we adhere to are the foundations on which we do this.

Our values are at the heart of Pawlett Primary School Academy. We focus on a value per term and have a two-year cycle that we follow (see below). We aim to hear, see and feel our school values throughout the school and they are taught throughout the school year and are recognised and celebrated regularly.
