An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, enthusiastic and experienced Science Technician who is passionate about the learning experiences of pupils, to join our busy and successful Science Department. We are looking to recruit a Science Technician who is able to successfully contribute to the whole school ethos of Learn, Grow, Thrive and Flourish and to effectively support developing excellence in learning and wellbeing.

If you are the exceptional Science Technician that we are looking for, you will:
- Be self-motivated, organised, flexible, efficient and capable of carrying out KS3, KS4 and KS5 science curriculum requirements.
- Provide a range of specialist support including the preparation and maintenance of science, laboratory and other relevant resources and equipment.
- Have excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills ensuring an ability to deal with people/situations at all operating levels;
- Be an excellent team player.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
An Enhanced with Childrens Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
