We are seeking an inspirational and highly motivated Assistant Headteacher to relentlessly continue Preston School’s drive for excellence in everything that we do. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptionally high standards across all areas of school leadership and will be committed to supporting the Headteacher’s vision of establishing Preston School as a leading provider within the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership over the next three years.

What We Are Looking For:
- An exceptional leader with a track record for improving student outcomes at a department or year group level
- An absolute commitment to the school’s vision; To Achieve Excellence, by Inspiring Ambition – For Every Student, Every Day
- A detail focussed and analytical mindset, with the ability to effectively analyse school wide attainment data, making effective use of a range of IT systems to inform decision making
- The ability to oversee a range of school wide interventions to ensure the highest possible student outcomes
- The ability to oversee, in time, the school’s timetable and curriculum design
- The ability to teach Maths or Computer Science would be beneficial, but other subjects will be considered
