The Post

The post holder’s role will be to support the Finance Officer with finance administration and to liaise with the SENDCO in relation to Exams Access Arrangement Administration.

It is expected that the postholder will be available to work on occasional days during school holiday periods to support the Chief Finance Officer, these hours are additional and can be claimed via timesheet.

Responsibilities

• To carry out all duties allocated in an effective manner and liaise closely with the Finance Officer, SENDCO and other staff as appropriate

• To liaise with customers, parents/carers, students, staff and suppliers

• To attend such courses as are necessary for the performance of their duties

Duties

• To collect and process funds received from students, in person or via Parent Pay

• To liaise with teaching staff and make payments to suppliers

• To chase parents/carers for outstanding monies for trips and liaise with the school’s teaching staff and senior leadership team as required

• To assist with the processing of the Purchase Ledger and Purchase Ordering systems in order to provide cover when required

• To undertake such administrative and clerical tasks as may be necessary in accomplishing the above duties using the appropriate office and data processing equipment

• To undertake any other relevant duties within the Finance Department which may be required on an ad-hoc basis

• To liaise with the school SENDCO and Exams Department in relation to the documentation required for student’s exam access arrangements
