Prince Henry’s High School is looking for a candidate with prior administrative experience with a skills set to work as part of the Reception Team. This is intended to be a permanent position, working during term time, and may include some additional days during school holiday periods.
The role will mainly focus on supporting the smooth running of the Main and Student Reception areas. Supporting students, providing a welcoming and efficient reception service, ensuring that visitors, telephone callers and internal enquiries are dealt with in a friendly and professional manner. and some light administration tasks.
As the role involves working with a range of people, including staff, students, parents/carers and visitors, the post holder must have a calm and professional manner. Discretion and maintaining strict confidentiality are essential attributes, as are following strict safeguarding procedures and possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience of using Microsoft Office (eg Word, Excel, Outlook) is required, and if necessary, training will be provided on the schools MIS System.
Working hours will be 30 hours per weeks working - Monday 8:30am - 4:30pm, Wednesday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm (including unpaid 30-minute lunch break each day), during term time and including TED Days. The post holder may be required to work up to an additional 10 days (or equivalent to 40 hours) during school holiday periods, with these additional hours being claimed for via timesheets.
