Following the creation of our brand-new Faculty of Creative Visual Arts and Technology, and the continued success of our sector-leading coding programme, we are looking to expand our exceptional team.
The Computer Science Department at Putney is vibrant, innovative and academically excellent. We inspire students across Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 by blending robust theoretical foundations with engaging, hands-on, creative projects. Our curriculum features Python as our primary language, complemented by JavaScript at A-Level and C# for creative work with Meta Quest environments. We are committed to expanding our provision in robotics, VR/XR development, coding and esports, supporting both local and national competitions and challenges.
As a department, we are collaborative, enthusiastic and forward-thinking, valuing a strong grasp of GCSE and A-Level content alongside a keen interest in emerging tech fields. We welcome dynamic applicants eager to inspire the next generation of digital innovators.
An ability to teach KS3 Mathematics, or expertise in robotics, 3D printing or Design Thinking would be an advantage.
ECTs are strongly encouraged to apply, and full support and mentorship will be provided.
