Queen Elizabeth’s is an oversubscribed, high achieving Dorset school which has a focus on high achievement and an excellent local reputation.

We are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor with a real interest in supporting students’ learning. Some experience of working with young people in an educational setting would be ideal. The main duties of this role will be to supervise students while they complete set work in classes and in the absence of the teacher. Full training will be given and this would perhaps suit a recent graduate considering a future career in teaching. Other applicants will also be welcome.

The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate resourcefulness, initiative, good time management and the confidence to work in a classroom environment, without supervision.

We can offer you:

  • A friendly and supportive team
  • A busy and lively environment
  • A positive, supportive community of staff, academy members and parents
  • Exciting school with state-of-the-art facilities
