We operate pastoral support through a highly effective and respected House system which provides a strong base to promote student achievement.
We are looking to recruit a Pastoral Support Officer to deliver pastoral support across the school. The successful candidate will work closely with students including those with SEN, behaviour, mental health and attendance needs. The post holder will support the Heads of House, Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), SEN Department and other members of the pastoral staff. The academic and pastoral success of students and the compliance with School administrative and reporting knowledge are important parts of the role.
The post would suit an enthusiastic person who can work without direct supervision but who seeks guidance where necessary. The post is based in a busy office and the ability to work in a team and excellent communication skills are essential. The ideal candidate will be confident, outgoing and compassionate.

The pro rata salary shown is based on the number of hours and weeks worked and paid annual leave entitlement for an employee under 5 years’ service.
