Queen Elizabeth High School is part of the Three Counties Academy Trust (TCAT) which includes three local Primary schools. Located in the town of Bromyard, Herefordshire, we are an 11-16 academy having converted in
2011. Set amidst spectacular scenery with stunning views of the Malvern Hills and even the Black Mountains on a clear day, the town of Bromyard is only 20 minutes from Hereford and 25 minutes from Worcester, making it close enough to the major transport networks to commute by road and rail.
QEHS has an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, energetic and innovative Teacher of RE/Citizenship and PSHE to join our highly successful team of mutually supportive colleagues whose shared purpose is to inspire and challenge all students at QEHS.
The successful candidate will:
• Be up to date with subject specific pedagogical approaches in RE, PSHE and Citizenship
• Be knowledgeable of local and national policy and practice in RE, PSHE and Citizenship
• Have experience of teaching all or a combination of RE, PSHE/RSHE and Citizenship
• Be willing to attend and engage in subject specific CPD
• Have high expectations of all students at all times
• Play a full part in the life of the school community, support the Trust and school mission and ethos and
encourage staff and students to follow this example
The successful candidate is required for September 2024. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and ECs (full induction and mentoring package for ECTs). Visits to the school, prior to application forms
being completed, are highly desirable and encouraged.
