The governing body of Queen Elizabeth High School are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, well-motivated and hard-working qualified teacher to deliver the following subjects: BTEC Law and BTEC Level 2 & 3 Public Services. This is a permanent position required from September 2024.
Queen Elizabeth High School has a large, thriving Sixth Form with a track record for outstanding Post 16 outcomes. Both Law and Public Services are popular Post 16 choices within the Sixth Form curriculum and we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic practitioner with excellent subject knowledge who is able to inspire students to reach the very high standards required in a high achieving Sixth Form and to progress to Higher Education.
Vocational options are an increasingly important pathway choice at post 16. Continued successful growth would lead to further opportunities for promotion in the future.
Applications should be in the form of an application form and a covering letter stating your experience and philosophy for delivering high quality Teaching and Learning. Candidates who require further information or who wish to discuss the post prior to applying may contact Mrs Bethan Rowe (Assistant Headteacher) by appointment by contacting the school. This can take place either in person or by telephone.
Shortlisting to take place week commencing 6th November 2023.
