Maternity cover (dates required April 2024 - March 2025)

Teacher of Religious Education to teach across the full ability range at KS3 /KS4 with the opportunity to teach A Level.

Required for April 2024 an enthusiastic, passionate and committed teacher of Religious Education to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will join a conscientious and vibrant Humanities faculty. The humanities department is a successful one and regularly achieves high standards and excellent results at KS3, KS4 and KS5.

At Key Stage 4 all pupils follow the WJEC RE short course Christianity and Islam over 2 years.

At Key Stage 5 pupils study the WJEC Ethics, Philosophy and Hinduism course over two years.

Applicants should:

- be an excellent classroom teacher;

- be able to inspire and enthuse pupils;

- have high expectations of pupils’ achievements and attitudes;

- be able to work as part of a team, and motivate, inspire, support and lead others;
