Redfield Educate Together Primary Academy is looking for an enthusiastic lunchtime playworker. 

Redfield Educate Together Primary is a two-form entry school, part of an Academy Trust that also has schools in Keynsham, Bath , Swindon and Weston-Super-Mare. The Trust was established in 2014 and places inclusion at the heart of its thinking and seeks to ensure in its mission statement, that that ‘no child is an outsider’.

We are looking for a playworker who can:

  • help children play positively, creatively and supportively
  • guide playtime, joining in and leading play activities
  • Help the children to play safely , enabling them to assess and minimise risk
  • Support the children to behave according to our values and ethos and challenge any discriminatory or hurtful language or behaviour
  • deliver basic first aid

Ideally, you will have some experience working with children and will be able to demonstrate an interest in encouraging their play and keeping them safe.

The salary is NJC SCP02 which is £22,366 pro rata.  The hours are Monday to Friday 11.30am to 1.30pm  term time only. The actual hours for these hours is £5,170 per annum. 

Closing date is April 19th at 9am with interviews taking place on April 29th.
