We are looking for an experienced part time teacher (0.8FTE, Tuesday - Friday) to join our school and cover PPA across a range of year groups. This post is temporary  until 31st August 2026 to cover Maternity leave.

Redfield Educate Together Primary is a two-form entry school, part of Educate Together Academy Trust that also has schools in Keynsham, Bath, Weston-Super-Mare and Swindon. The Trust was established in 2014 and places inclusion at the heart of its thinking and seeks to ensure in its mission statement, that that ‘no child is an outsider’. We aim to be truly child-centred in everything we do. We have a unique, ethical ‘Learn Together’ curriculum which runs alongside the National Curriculum and EYFS.

  • Can you actively support our Educate Together ethos and prove you are already living it?
  • Can you form strong and effective relationships with children with a range of needs?
  • Do you consider yourself a flexible, forward thinking teacher?
  • Can you demonstrate the ability to innovate and explore new ideas?
  • Can you demonstrate that you can enable children to make very good progress and achieve high standards, while delivering a broad and balanced curriculum?
  • Are you flexible, keen to lend a hand and enthusiastic about new opportunities?

Our schools operate under the following principles:

  •  Equity-based - Through being equitable in our work, all children and staff will have equal access to their rights and, regardless of background, all will be equally respected.
  •  Aspirational - All of our children have the right to a holistic world class education. All of our work aims to ensure that every child can make progress and achieve well in every aspect of their education
  •  Child – centred - Children are at the heart of every decision and activity. Their voices are actively sought and listened to. They play a lead role in shaping their education.
  • Collaborative - Our schools aim to be central to the communities they serve.

Our ideal teacher:

  • Is an experienced teacher who would be comfortable teaching in KS1 or KS2
  • Values relationships and understands their importance in creating a supportive and effective school culture.
  • Passionately believes that all children can achieve
  • Is prepared to go that extra mile and make a difference to the lives and life chances of our children.

About Us:

  •  Inspected last May by OFSTED and graded RI, we are on a determined journey of improvement.
  • Our community is diverse, inclusive, and brimming with potential.
  •  We value strong relationships at all levels—among children, staff, and families.

Closing date is November 6th at 9am.

Interviews will be held the following week.
