Salary: M1 – M6
Contract type: 1 Year Fixed Term Contract to cover Maternity Leave
Hours: 1 x Full time and 1 x 0.6 FTE

A class teacher, under the direction of the phase leader and senior leadership team will:
• Promote the school ethos in all aspects of school life
• Set high expectations for all pupils and support staff and continually strive to raise standards
• Take full responsibility for a class throughout the school day if appropriate including movement around the school, especially at the beginning of lunchtime
• Provide quality teaching and learning opportunities that are appropriate for the full range of children’s abilities
• Assess individual needs and plan, prepare and match programmes and resources to cater for those needs, including writing and reviewing support plans in conjunction with the SENDCo
• Develop a stimulating and interactive classroom which provides a welcoming and safe learning environment
