"As Headteacher, I am both proud and humbled to lead this exceptional community. It is a joy to work with such dedicated staff and wonderful pupils in a school where relationships come first and where the atmosphere is as enriching as the education.
At RGS Dodderhill, we are proud to offer something truly special. Ours is a school where every child is known personally, cared for deeply and celebrated for who they are. From the very first moment you step onto our beautiful site, you will feel the warmth of our community – a place where kindness, respect and joy are at the heart of everything we do.
I am especially proud of our outstanding Nursery and Prep School. These early years are foundational and at RGS Dodderhill we nurture children in a way that develops not only their academic confidence, but their emotional security, curiosity and sense of self. Our dedicated staff ensure that every child is given the space and support to flourish, to find their voice, explore their interests and begin to build a lifelong love of learning.
As pupils move into our Senior School, they benefit from a unique and empowering girls-only experience. In today’s world, I believe deeply in the value of an environment where girls can grow without pressure to conform, where they are free to lead, to take risks and to truly be themselves. Here, our girls are confident, ambitious and unafraid to take up space – because they know they are valued, encouraged, and capable of achieving whatever they set their minds to.
Pupils leave RGS Dodderhill not only with strong results, but with strong character – ready to contribute meaningfully to the world around them. We may be small, but we are mighty!"

Welcome to RGS Dodderhill
Nestled in the heart of Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire, RGS Dodderhill is an independent school offering a nurturing Nursery and Prep education for boys and girls aged 2 to 11, and Girls only Senior School from 11 to 16.
We are proud to be a school that is small by design and mighty by nature. Our close-knit community ensures every child is known, supported, and celebrated. With all the personalised care of a small school and the ambitions, opportunities, and outcomes of a much larger one, our pupils develop a love of learning, grow in confidence, and leave ready to embrace the future.
We are always delighted to welcome prospective families to experience the RGS Dodderhill difference, we look forward to meeting you.
Discover how ‘mighty’ truly comes to life here at RGS Dodderhill.
At RGS Dodderhill, we recognise that many local families are seeking a high-quality, nurturing independent Prep School experience for both boys and girls. Our co-educational Prep allows siblings to attend the same school with a single, convenient drop-off, something that is especially important to families with younger children.
From Year Seven onwards, we strongly believe in the proven benefits of an all-girls education. Research, and our own experience, show that girls thrive in a dedicated environment where they can grow in confidence, lead without hesitation, and achieve their full academic and personal potential.
For boys, the transition from RGS Dodderhill Prep to RGS Worcester at Year Seven is seamless. To support busy families, we provide a dedicated RGS minibus service between RGS Dodderhill and RGS Worcester, making drop-offs and pick-ups as simple and convenient as possible. This structure offers families the best of both worlds: a co-educational start and a tailored senior journey for girls that brings out the best in every child.
The aim of the family of RGS Worcester schools is to provide an excellent all round education for children aged 2 – 18 years, supporting them in their passage to adulthood by developing character, intellect, physical and emotional well-being and cultural understanding within a supportive community.
The Schools and its staff aim to cultivate an ethos in which each pupil is cared for individually, valued equally and achieves their potential.

RGS Dodderhill is proud of its high academic standards, its pastoral care, and the wealth of co-curricular opportunities the School provides. Key to this success are the staff that work here. We employ a wide range of staff in addition to our well-qualified and experienced Teachers, Estates, Finance, IT, Human Resources, Specialist Technicians, Early Years Practitioners and many others across the RGS Worcester Family of Schools.
Teaching Staff at RGS Dodderhill come from a broad range of educational routes, some having worked in other professions before qualifying to be a Teacher. Every year we host PGCE students from local Universities. We expect all applicants to have a good degree in their subject specialism. However, a teaching qualification, whilst desirable, is not essential; we can and do provide full support for those who wish to become qualified after appointment. We are deeply committed to the professional development of our staff. Our staff who teach here will have a love of their subject and the ability to inspire and challenge and stretch able pupils to reach their potential. Our Teachers enjoy making an active contribution to co-curricular activities, both for the reward of the activity itself and because of the different dimension it gives to their relationship with their pupils.
