We are looking to recruit a bank of Exam Invigilators in order to cover internal and external examinations. If successful, you would be required to sign up for sessions during exam periods. The internal exam period is from November to January, and the external exam period is from May to June. Experience is not required as training will be provided.

Casual - hourly rate for Exam Invigilators is £16.79
Main Duties:
- To ensure a calm environment giving the candidates the best possible opportunity to be successful in their exams
- To ensure that examinations are conducted within the guidelines set down by Joint Council for Qualifications (relevant documents will be supplied)
- To help organise students at the start and end of each exam
- To take all reasonable steps to ensure the correct stationery is issued to the candidates during their exam
- To provide the correct information and material for successful completion of the exam
- To ensure students do not communicate or have any unauthorised materials in their possession
- To deal with any disturbances to an exam, notifying the Exams Officer or Lead Invigilator accordingly
- To ensure that students do not leave the examination room unless they are escorted for exceptional reasons, as directed by the Exams Officer or Lead Invigilator
- Manage confidential data sensitively and securely
- Manage any issues that may arise during the course of examinations appropriately
