We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, creative and driven Curriculum Manager to join our team at Richard Taunton College (part of the Lighthouse Learning Trust).

This is a key role to lead development and delivery of the curriculum for our Foundation mode of study, which encompasses a range of level 1 and 2 courses, including vocational pathways and English and Maths GCSE and Functional Skills. The post holder will oversee the strategic and operational development of a T level transition programme, and be responsible for delivering excellent outcomes and progression for pre level 3 students, as well as leading our cross college literacy and numeracy strategies.

The successful candidate will be confident in leading and line-managing a team to ensure the strategic vision of the Trust is fully and successfully implemented. This will involve overseeing the quality of the current curriculum and identifying areas for improvement, as well as developing plans for growth within this exciting curriculum area.

The successful candidate will hold a teaching qualification (to degree level) with relevant experience in leading within a post-16 education environment. We welcome applicants from any subject specialism.

  • This is a permanent, full-time academic management contract due to start as soon as possible
  • Salary: LLT Management Pay Scale 14-20 (dependent on experience)
  • Minimum of 37 hours per week term time plus one week.
  • Teaching Commitment: 13 hours per week. We welcome applicants with any subject specialism.
