Ridgeway Farm CE Academy is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated 1-1 SEND Teaching Assistant to join our fabulous team on a contract linked to a specific child.

Ridgeway Farm CE Academy is a fantastic place to work and learn. The Academy was newly built on the Ridgeway Farm housing development near Purton village, Wiltshire and on the border with the town of Swindon. We opened in September 2016 with 3 classes and we now have 7 classes and we are open to all year groups.

Ridgeway Farm CE Academy is partnered with nearby Lydiard Millicent CE Primary School. Both schools are part of the growing Diocese of Bristol Academies Trust. The two schools share an Executive Principal, Senior Leadership Team and Academy Council.

We are looking for an enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant, with experience of working with children with a wide variety of needs, to join our school. This role is to support a child with an Education, Health and Care Plan.

The role is for up to 27.5 hours per week, term time only. It will involve working 1-1 with a child; planning, resource preparation, administration, observation and assessment; liaising with and supporting the other members of this child’s immediate team and liaising with parents and outside agencies to meet the requirements of the EHCP.
