GRADE C: £25,186 - £26,244 FTE / £22,096 - £23,024 actual salary

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced receptionist/administrator to join a supportive team who work collaboratively to contribute to the continued success of the school.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Student Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our students, staff, and visitors. This pivotal role ensures the smooth day-to-day operation of our busy student reception area and provides essential administrative support to the wider School Office team.
The successful candidate will be a friendly, organised, and proactive individual with excellent customer service skills. You will thrive in a dynamic environment, handling diverse enquiries and helping to create a positive atmosphere for our students.
Liaising with school staff and external parties as appropriate will also be an important part of this busy and varied role. You may also be required, on occasion, to assist with any other relevant duties which might include helping to support school events or whole school administrative tasks.
The successful candidate will also be/have:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong IT schools (experience using Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite)
- Highly organised, accurate with the ability to multitask
- A supportive and empathetic approach to students and a commitment to safeguarding
- Able to use discretion and respect confidentiality
Experience of working with SIMS (or other education MIS) would be beneficial but training can be provided. A knowledge and understanding of the education sector and/or experience of working within a school environment or other busy office environment would be desirable.
This vacancy is full time, 8:00am-4:00pm Monday to Friday and will be term time plus one additional week (worked over the course of the academic year).
