Senior Midday Supervisor required for October
We are a welcoming and ambitious school in the heart of Sutton. We are looking to recruit a friendly person with a positive and forward thinking attitude to join our well-supported team supervising the children in school during their lunchbreak.
You will need to be:
• A good time keeper
• Confident and able to work with children with varying needs, a good communicator and a team-player
• You will ideally have experience o working with children in either a paid or voluntary capacity and there is a good induction process in place to welcome the successful candidate into our school and this important role.
• For this important and busy role within our school day – we provide a range of games and activities for our children to enable them to enjoy their lunchtimes and also ensure they can play in safe surroundings.
In December 2022, Ofsted reported that "Pupils are delighted to be a part of this school. They see it as a warm, welcoming place where they feel that they belong. Pupils said it is like being part of a big family. Pupils are kept safe."
WHAT WE OFFER
- Term-time working - 5 days per week, 11.45am – 1.45pm (10 Hours per week)

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- a proven ability to work on their own initiative
- a keen eye for detail
- knowledge of basic health and safety and first aid
- a good level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults
- a positive attitude to the work
- a commitment to the happiness, well-being, self-esteem and progress of everyone at the school
Weeks worked: 38 weeks term time + paid termly staff meetings/training
Salary: SNJC 3/4 £29,436-£31,611 actual £6840 pa, term time working
The rate of pay is currently £15.68 approx per hour
Start Date: ASAP, subject to satisfactory pre-employment clearances
