The school serves the western end of the town of Barry and has done so for well over 100 years.
Our 130 place Nursery caters for children from the age of 3yrs and offers morning and afternoon places.
The main school has a standard entry number of 90. This means that all year groups are made up of three classes.
The school mission statement 'Learning, Growing and Succeeding Together' is central to our belief of offering the best possible experiences for the children in our care.
Our goal is to ensure that all children who spend time at the school get the very best learning opportunities through outstanding Access, Attitudes and Achievement.

We place the children at the heart of our school. Children get one chance of being at primary school, and so therefore only deserve the absolute best! We consider it a privilege to provide a stimulating and creative curriculum, that is firmly based on first hand meaningful learning experiences. We pride ourselves on the broad, balanced and full education we provide for all children - the high standards of teaching and learning are a credit to the hard work of both staff and children.
