As a small village school with around 15 pupils in each year group, we are proud of the close relationships we build with our children and families.

Early Years

Every child is unique, which is why our Early Years provision is shaped around the needs of each individual cohort. We take time to get to know every child and family, using this understanding to create an environment and learning experiences that are right for them. As children grow and develop, we continually adapt our provision, ensuring they feel happy, secure and ready to learn. The Nest

The Nest is our dedicated breakout learning space, designed to provide a calm and supportive environment for small group work. Whether children need additional support, focused intervention or simply a quieter space to learn, The Nest helps them build confidence and achieve their full potential.

A sports coach leads active sessions, alongside creative opportunities like art, chalking, and dressing up—supporting both physical and creative development.

Immersive Learning

Our immersive learning approach brings lessons to life by placing children at the heart of the experience. Teachers create exciting scenarios and settings that encourage pupils to use their imagination, take on roles and respond to prompts as events unfold. Children become active participants in their learning, developing creativity, confidence, communication skills and a deeper understanding of the topic.

Creative and Performing Arts Opportunities

Creativity is celebrated throughout the school. Children benefit from regular access to a specialist performing arts teacher and have opportunities to showcase their talents through performances and talent shows. Music opportunities, including the iRock programme, allow pupils to learn instruments and perform as part of a band.

Enriched Experiences Beyond the Classroom

From swimming lessons and educational visits to residential trips and a wide range of clubs, we ensure children enjoy memorable experiences that broaden their horizons. Our active Parents’ Community Association further enriches school life through exciting events and opportunities for families to come together.

Residentials

Adventure-based residential experiences are also offered. These experiences help build independence, resilience, teamwork and confidence and create lasting memories.
