The Wellington Academy opened in 2009 to serve Tidworth, Ludgershall and the surrounding area: an area with a significant military presence. Royal Wootton Bassett Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an IT Technician Apprentice to join our busy IT Department based at The Wellington Academy.
You will be part of a team running our In-House ICT systems supporting students and staff on a day to day basis as well as supporting our partner Primary Schools.
Applicants should have a willingness to learn about hardware and software installation, and will be able to learn systems quickly, will possess a strong customer service ethic and have excellent communication.
On occasions you might be required to work across both Secondary and Primary sites.
The successful applicant will attend Wiltshire College 1 day a week and gain a level 3 qualification.
Minimum GCSE Grades D-to C/9-4 to include Maths and English.
All Applicants will be received to pass initial assessments in Maths and English.
Depending on the apprenticeship standard applied for you will also need to complete the ICT initial assessment.
