The Wellington Academy opened in 2009 to serve Tidworth, Ludgershall and the surrounding area: an area with a significant military presence. Consequently, we are proud to educate a large number of children from service families and with the growing super-garrison based on Salisbury plain we expect our numbers to continue to rise.

The Wellington Academy joined the Royal Wootton Bassett Academy Trust on 1st April 2020 and are following their approach to teaching which has seen them gain an outstanding rating by Ofsted. By joining the Trust, it brings a whole wealth of exciting CPD opportunities which is your right to undertake as you develop in your career.

We are looking to recruit a Military Service Pupil Premium Coordinator and would love to hear from individuals that are passionate about education, highly motivated and have a commitment to learner achievement and success. You will be responsible for leading the management and delivery of provision for Service family pupils, to ensure that the service pupil premium funding reaches the groups of pupils for whom it is intended and that it makes a significant impact on their education.

You should have experience of working in educational environment, as well as have an understanding of the unique challenges faced by Military families.

If you believe you have the commitment and desire to work in an environment which values all staff as well as setting the highest standards and expectations then please apply using the Trust application form, available with more details from our website.

Closing date for applications is 1st February 2021, interviews will take place shortly after.
