We are looking to recruit Exam Invigilator(s) who are flexible and enthusiastic to enhance our existing team. You will be able to follow the routines of starting and finishing an exam according to the JCQ regulations for external examinations. You will be able to support young people who may be feeling anxious to settle into the exam environment.
You will need to be able to:
- write or type accurately, and at a reasonable speed, writing exactly what the candidate has said, except in an examination requiring word processing, where a scribe will not be permitted
- not give factual help to the candidate or indicate when the answer is complete
- read accurately whilst not offering any advice to the candidate
This is a Casual position on zero hours; hours cannot be guaranteed, although you need to be available during our exam seasons, which will be relayed to you.
