Severn Academies Educational Trust (SAET) is looking for an exceptional and visionary leader to shape the future of Key Stage 5 across our Trust. This new, strategic role offers the chance to establish a clear, compelling vision and drive system-wide excellence in VI Form provision across Stourport High School and Baxter College.

The successful candidate will also be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) at Stourport High School. This role will involve contributing to whole-school strategy and providing operational support, with the specific capacity determined by the applicant's skill set.

The Role

The successful candidate will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) at Stourport High School. Working under the strategic direction of the Headteachers, you will drive a framework for continuous enhancement in teaching and learning. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Leadership: Define, embed, and champion a culture of high-performance in Key Stage 5 year groups, setting rigorous standards for academic attainment, attendance, and learning behaviours. Strategically develop and implement a recruitment and marketing plan to recruit students to the VI form.
  • Curriculum & Pedagogy: Lead the strategic design of a brilliant curriculum development to secure exceptional student outcomes, implemented through pedagogical innovation. Drive the professional development of teachers of VI form , cultivating a high-performing team and securing future leadership capacity within the Trust.
  • Student Growth: Set a culture of compassion and kindness, leading the Pastoral Leadership team to deliver outstanding personal development and care. Provide inspiring opportunity for enrichment in the classroom and beyond.
