Salary: £27,238 - £45,109. Incremental progression throughout the band is available.

About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for a talented and enthusiastic teacher to undertake the role of A- level and BTEC Chemistry teacher at Pendleton Sixth Form College. The ideal candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and a proven track record of academic achievement. It is essential that candidates are passionate about working with young people and have high standards of achievement for all learners. We welcome applications from experienced teachers and ECT’s. ECT’s are fully supported through our two-year ECT programme.
The STEM department comprises of A-level Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Further Maths and Computer Science. Many of our teachers are also examiners and some have worked in the STEM industry prior to teaching, bringing their knowledge to the classroom. Enrichment is a key strength in the department with trips to CERN, and visiting speakers including Oxford University lecturers.
