An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the highly successful Health Department at Eccles Sixth Form College as a Work Placement Officer. Our Health Department delivers a diverse range of health-related courses, supporting learners in developing the knowledge and practical skills required for future careers in the sector. In this key role, you will support learners in securing meaningful and high-quality work placements that enhance their educational experience. You will be responsible for conducting thorough due diligence checks, including safeguarding requirements such as DBS verification where appropriate, to ensure all placements meet required standards. The role also involves carrying out placement visits to monitor learner progress, ensure compliance, and maintain high-quality learning experiences. You will build and maintain strong, professional
partnerships with healthcare employers and organisations to support sustainable placement opportunities. We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual with a genuine passion for supporting Health and Social Care learners. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organisational and multitasking skills, a calm and flexible approach, and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding outcomes for students.
