Welcome to Tudor Grange Samworth Academy. Within a caring Christian ethos we aim to provide a safe and happy environment which allows all of our pupils to flourish and fulfil their potential. Pupils and staff are committed to our Tudor Values of Tolerance, Unity, Democracy, Opportunity and Respect. Our focus is on outstanding teaching and learning designed to stretch and challenge our pupils and for it to be an enjoyable and exciting experience. To this end we are well supported by the Tudor Grange Academies Trust that we joined in January 2016.

We pride ourselves on our college system that allows all of our pupils to feel part of a smaller community within the Academy. The college system ensures that all students have access to the support they need and provides opportunities to celebrate the success they achieve. It also provides every pupil with opportunities to support their school community and the wider community.

Finally, it is a privilege for me to lead such a wonderful group of students and staff. I hope that the website gives you valuable insight into life at the academy.

Christian Ethos & Values

Christian Ethos

With a caring Christian ethos, Tudor Grange Samworth Academy aims to provide a safe and happy environment which allows every child the opportunity to fulfill their potential and make a valuable contribution to the Academy and the wider community.

There are close links between the school and the Church, with regular opportunities for collective worship and involvement by local clergy, church representation on the Board of Governors, and half termly services in church for the whole school.

We welcome staff and pupils of all faiths and none, and respect and value diversity of belief and practice within a distinctively Christian ethos.

Our strong moral purpose is displayed through our commitment to both raising standards for our pupils and also through our commitment to adult learning and support for our parents and community members.  We believe that our vision is to ensure long term regeneration of the community and closing of the gap for our pupils, including providing the opportunity for our most able pupils to access university.
