As the ‘Further Education College of the year 2019’, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Functional Skills department as an Administrator on a permanent basis, reporting into the Head of the Department.
You will be providing full secretarial and administrative support to the Assistant Director and undertake administrative support for staff in designated curriculum teams as directed by the Head of Department. You will be the point of call with queries to the department from students and departments within the college. Input and supply relevant Management information by the use of IT software packages, and maintain other records as required.
To be successful, you will have strong IT skills and knowledge of working Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Word and Excel including the use of Functions. You will be a highly organised individual who is good at record keeping and prioritising your workload. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable manner. We are looking for someone who can work well independently but also flourish as part of our Functional Skills department.
